Sunnie Lee is a New York City based visual designer bringing brands and products to life by telling their unique visual stories through a fresh perspective.

She is a strategic creative thinker and a lover of brands. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree with scholarship in Parsons School of Design majoring in Communication Design. She currently works at The New School as a part-time Graphic Designer.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with departmental scholarship from School of Visual Arts in 2018. Her background includes corporate, agency, and freelance graphic design experience, with a history of print, interactive, and digital design projects. She has worked on nationwide and international event branding, advertising, product launch, marketing collaterals, and image campaigns.

Before The New School, she has worked at Datadog as a Brand Designer creating executive marketing event visual identities, including tech talks with Porsche in 2018 and Ring in 2019. Prior to that, she worked at the Visual Arts Press— School of Visual Arts’ in-house design studio—very closely with the studio’s former art director and now chair of the school’s Design department, Gail Anderson for two years. At there, she has helped with the school’s 2017 Open House visual identity design with collaterals sent out internationally.

Sunnie’s work has been featured in mass and industry publications including Graphis and TDC. She just recently won first prize in the TDC65 Communication Design student category.
